Guntong Technologies Holding Sdn Bhd established in 1984 to venture into the competitive and challenging world of computers and technology. Guntong originally supplied personal computers to individuals and small companies.
Guntong has expanded into supplying a variety of telecommunication equipment and information technology based systems. We have accomplished and established a long working relationship especially with Telekom Malaysia Bhd. for about 20 years and with Celcom (M) Bhd. for about 17 years with consistent annual works/supplies of various equipments and services.
Guntong is also the sole distributor for Trend Communications Ltd, UK (ISDN, xDSL, ATM, SDH/PDH, LAN/WAN Testers). We are also distributor for Aartesys AG Switzerland (ISDN/PSTN Monitoring System), Teligent AB of Sweden for various solutions.
Our involvement in Information Technology is proven by our successful bidding of a major project with Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) “The National Railway Company” in the year 2000. Given our success in implementing the system for KTMB we have been awarded with the project of implementing the IT Infrastructure and Application Systems for KTMB in 2009. In 2002, we have been awarded by TM to implement the Tariff Impact System (TIA). Following our continued success in IT solution, Guntong was awarded a major contract by the Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn Bhd in early 2008 to implement Business Application System Upgrade.
